A BODY has been found in the search for missing man Jamie Douglas.
The 45-year-old was last seen leaving his home in Windmill Road, Polegate, on Thursday morning at 6.30am and went to work, before leaving to go to a work appointment in Hove.
The body is believed to be Jamie Douglas, although it has not been formally identified. It was found in woodland in Chalvington, near Firle, shortly after midday today.
Mr Douglas' family have been informed. Police are not treating his death as suspicious and the coroner has been informed.
