SHEFFIELD Park and Garden has been nominated for the Fields in Trust UK’s Best Park Award.
Hundreds of parks were nominated for the award with the 18th century Capability Brown gardens among the select few.
A public vote will now decide the overall winner.
More than 350 parks were nominated.
Voting closes at 5pm on November 3.
The winner will be announced at the Fields in Trust Awards at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London, on Wednesday, November 29.
The other contenders are:
Egerton Park, Bexhill,
Hampden Park, Eastbourne
Old Town Recreation Ground, Eastbourne
Preston Park, Brighton
Tilgate Park, Crawley
