CHESTNUT Tree House children’s hospice is staging its 10th annual Snowman Spectacular fundraising ball on December 2.
The ball takes its inspiration from The Snowman, the picture book illustrated by Chestnut patron Raymond Briggs, who lives near Plumpton and is pictured above.
Now in its tenth year, it is hoped the ball raises a large figure to help the hospice continue to provide specialist care for life-limited children.
Sarah Arnold, head of fundraising, said: “We are so incredibly grateful to Raymond Briggs for allowing us to feature The Snowman in our fundraising ball for the last ten years.
“The iconic story is loved by many, but the themes and emotions particularly resonate with us.”
