A CAR flipped on to its side after crashing on a busy main road yesterday afternoon.
The Fiat Dubo collided with another car on the Southwick stretch of Old Shoreham Road, causing traffic chaos as emergency services worked to recover the vehicle.
The crash happened at the junction with Southwick Street, near Southdown Vets, at 2.22pm.
A Sussex Police spokesman said one of the drivers was “slightly hurt” in the crash.
An eyewitness said the road was partially blocked and traffic was slow due to the crash.
Sue James commented on a Facebook post shortly after yesterday’s incident to warn others of the incident.
She said: “It’s outside my house, a tonne of emergency services. Think the road will be shut for a while.”
