Films were promised starring the likes of Michael Caine which never materialised
ON NOVEMBER 22 we wrote that Michael Cowan, 51, from Peacehaven, had been arrested for fraud and money laundering in connection with an alleged £10m film investment fraud involving 500 potential victims. This was incorrect, Mr Cowan has not been arrested.
Mr Cowan has been interviewed under caution in connection with the case, and released pending further investigation.
The case also involves his long-time business partner Mr Steven Wilkinson of Alfriston, who has been arrested. We apologise to Mr Cowan for the inaccuracy.
