A BUSINESS savvy pair have raised more than £5,000 for charity by cashing in on Corbynmania.

Brightonians Andrew Will, 26, and Jack Francis, 25, along with brothers Mike, 26, and Richard Harding, 21, have created a Christmas jumper featuring the Labour leader.

Their ‘Jerry Christmas’ jumper has already raised £5,000 in the process for Save the Children UK.

They created their online shop, Notjust.shop, in September and started selling the Corbyn festive jumpers on November 6.

Within 30 hours they had sold out of their first 250 jumper run.

Mr Will said they were inspired by the lack of good quality festive clothing.

He said: “We wanted to do something different, while challenging the mass production methods, and support good causes.

“It is all good quality stuff. To produce one of these knits is time-consuming, highly specialised and technically intricate work.

“Using the latest hi-tech knitting machines, it takes 45 minutes to weave the front and back sections, the sleeves are cut by hand, and the collar attached by carefully feeding each jumper into a separate machine - all done by hand, by experts.”

As well as the Corbyn jumper, they have also produced a Donald Trump version.

The American president appears as The Grinch with the slogan “Make Christmas Great Again”.

The unisex jumpers can be bought online for £35 with 50 per cent going to Save The Children UK.

Mr Will added: “We are not personally taking a profit from this project. Fifty per cent goes directly to Save The Children UK and the other 50 per cent is being reinvested back into the business to grow and fund new charitable projects.”

The jumpers are all designed and produced in the UK.
