PARENTS are being asked for their thoughts on the new two-week October half term.
Brighton and Hove City Council is holding the online survey following the first running of the two-week school half term.
The extra week of holiday in October aims to enable families to go on holiday outside of the summer peak period – which is the most expensive time to book.
School and council bosses also hope the move will lead to a decrease in the days parents are taking their children out of school in term time.
The local authority now wants to know what impact it will have on families.
The survey is open until January 31 and can be found at brighton-hove.gov.uk/autumn-half-term-survey.
