A DRIVER has been treated by paramedics after his car smashed through a garden wall.
He veered off Coldean Lane, Brighton, across a patch of grass and through the wall at around 1pm today.
A neighbour who witnessed the incident said the driver of the car was elderly, and was "taken unwell".
The car, a silver Renault Clio, had a punctured tyre and smashed bonnet.
When The Argus arrived at the crash site, the motorist was receiving treatment in an ambulance.
One fire engine, an ambulance and a police car were called to the scene.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said the driver was shaken by the crash, but did not have any injuries.
