SEAFORD Photographic Society’s first meeting of 2018 featured two competitions for projected digital images, with the set subjects of street photography and transport.
Judging was carried out by Paul Dunmall CPAGB.
There were 29 entries for the street photography competition and Gary Carter’s black and white image entitled Home on the Bridge took first prize.
Ruth Cattrell’s colourful The Laundry Party took second place and When it Rains by Janice Hewitt was third.
There were 24 entries in for transport and the winner was Driving Control by Terry Shearing.
Second place again went to Ruth Cattrell with a very atmospheric twilight shot of a sailing boat, and Chris Dawson’s action power boat image, taken from Seaford beach, was third.
Seaford Photographic Society is proving very popular.
