A TWO-CAR crash caused the A259 coast road in Saltdean to close.
The crash happened at around 1.30pm today, with minor injuries reported.
However Marine Drive was closed as emergency services worked to clear a fuel spillage, a Sussex Police spokeswoman said.
The road has now been re-opened.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: "Update (14:21)- Firefighters have made the scene safe and the road is now clear."
