AFTER being stood up on Valentine's Day, Sussex Police has released a list of wanted people who owe them a date.

All the force wanted was to spend some quality time with people who have been trying to avoid officers lately.

Now police are calling on the public to play cupid and help them secure a date with some of the county's most wanted.

The force said there is every chance it will be back to their place for coffee.

Dean Mazirel, 33, from Worthing, is wanted on recall to prison for not abiding by the terms of his release last November.

Martin Bennett, 37, from Brighton, is wanted for failing to appear in court.

Callum Gower, 21, of no fixed abode, who is knwon to visit Hastings and Rye, is currently wanted in connection with assault and drugs offences.

Lee John Cornelius, 40, from Polegate, has been charged with possessing the class A drug crack cocaine with intent to supply.

He is wanted for failing to appear at Hastings Magistrates' Court on December 28 last year.

The last wanted person on the list is Pamela McQuade, 44, from Bognor Regis.

She is wanted for failing to appear at court suspected of making off without payment on three occasions.

Residents can follow Sussex Police on social media to see updates about its appeals.
