A JOBS board in Sussex has launched a London-based talent engagement platform at a major industry even.
The Attract, Retain and Inspire event, at Chelsea Football Club’s Stamford Bridge stadium in south west London was attended by more than 50 influential organisations.
The event discussed the future workforce and what businesses can and should be doing to create more opportunities for the next generation.
The team behind LoveLocalJobs.com has created LoveLondonJobs.com to capitalise on rising employment rates in London.
Gary Peters, chief executive of LoveLocalJobs.com, said: “This was our first event in London and the turnout was fantastic.
“We wanted to launch LoveLondonJobs.com to a group of influential businesses and doing it at Stamford Bridge was just the icing on the cake.
“I’m really looking forward to speaking to more businesses over the coming months and letting people know what we’re about.”
Gary also spoke about LoveLocalJobs.com’s ground-breaking programme Be the Change.
It is designed to inspire the future generation from secondary school age, opening students’ eyes to the world of work and the wealth of the possibilities and career opportunities in their hometown and beyond.
