Several beach huts have been damaged by vandals.
Sussex Police received reports from residents about criminal damage on numerous beach huts in Kingsway and Hove.
Community police officers are currently at the scene attending to the incident.
Vandals tore open several doors, however it is not known if anything was stolen.
Police believe the incident happened overnight.
