A CONFERENCE at the Amex Stadium has raised £6,000 for a brain injury charity
Newick-based charity Headway East Sussex will receive the money following the Brain Injury Connections: Family Matters conference.
Headway East Sussex is an independent charity affiliated to Headway UK.
It provides rehabilitation and support services for people with acquired brain injuries, their families and carers in Brighton and the surrounding areas.
The money raised will help them to fund patient rehabilitation, outreach support groups, counselling and a range of information leaflets.
The conference is the fifth annual conference organised by asb aspire LLP, a Sussex and Kent-based law firm specialising in catastrophic injury claims, alongside Headway East Sussex.
In addition to raising money, the main aim of the conference is to raise awareness of the issues faced by people with a brain injury.
Experts from across the country attended.
