A CAR has crashed into a lamppost and flipped onto its roof.
Police were called to the single car crash at Marine Gate, Marine Drive, Brighton, this morning at around 6.30am.
The Alfa Romeo left the road and crashed into a lamppost, which then fell into the road.
The car was left on its roof and was badly damaged.
The driver sustained minor injuries and nobody else was injured in the crash.
Sussex Police left the scene at around 8am.
A tow truck was also sent to recover the wreckage.
