SIX people have received medical treatment after toxic fumes were reported at a block of flats.
The fumes were reported at the flats in Seaside, Eastbourne, this afternoon.
All six were treated at the scene and did not require hospital treatment.
The alarm was raised shortly before 3.30pm and led to a 200-metre exclusion zone being set up and nearby roads being closed.
It is thought to have been caused by a chemical reaction from the use of household cleaning agent.
