What is your favourite place in Sussex?

The Amex Stadium. As a lifelong Brighton and Hove Albion fan, that is the place I love going more than any other.

What do you love most about living in Sussex?

The fact that, in most instances, you’re never too far from a shopping centre, the beach or the open countryside.

What advice do you have for your 12-year-old self?

Stop caring what others think of you and do what makes you happy.

What is your most valued possession?

With thanks to my girlfriend – obligatory shoutout there – I’m starting to amass a pretty good collection of Star Wars trinkets. Aside from that I’d say I have items that have sentimental value to me but nothing that is a hugely valued possession.

What is your biggest regret?

Probably the same as the advice I’d give my younger self. I definitely spent too much time trying to impress people when I should have just focused on being happy with myself.

What is your biggest fear?

Spiders, 100 per cent spiders. They are just the worst thing in the world.

What is your proudest achievement?

I would say that each job I’ve had since completing my NCTJ has been a proud achievement. For so long, all I wanted to do was be a journalist. Now every step I take on that ladder is a huge moment for me.

Which five people (living or dead) would you invite to your fantasy dinner party?

Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickenson

Christoper Lee, the man who has been in James Bond and played Dracula, Count Dooku and Saruman

Shawn Michaels, arguably the greatest professional wrestler of all time

Punk legend Joan Jett

Carrie Fisher, the woman who helped enhance my love of Star Wars.
