A LORRY has overturned on a roundabout on the A27 causing major travel disruption.
The westbound carriageway has been closed at the at the Beddingham roundabout near Lewes while the lorry is recovered.
The AA website say the accident was first reported at 1.26pm today.
It says: "Road closed and queueing traffic due to rolled over truck on A27 Westbound at A26. The road has been closed westbound to recover the overturned lorry."
One driver wrote on Twitter: "Absolute chaos at #Beddingham #A27 due to overturned lorry.
"NO signs to divert traffic or any warnings ..... Hubster just crawled along for 45 mins to be told he can't go West Bound ... PUT SOME SIGNS UP"
