I GOT on the number 12X bus at the Clock Tower on June 19 at 11am to visit my daughter who lives in Seaford. Arriving at the Library stop at 11.45am.
Unfortunately, I left my pink plastic shopping bag under my seat with my camera, umbrella and sunglasses inside.
My daughter went back one hour later when the bus was on the return journey to see if it had been handed in to the driver – sadly no luck.
Next day I rang the bus office to see if it had been handed in to lost property and to my delight it had.
The pictures on the camera are very precious family ones plus The Royal Wedding which I took from the tv.
Also my 12 year old grandson with yet two more medals for basked ball games.
Thank you so much to the kind person who handed it in and to the bus company Brighton and Hove Buses.
Doreen Elliott – aged 87 years.
