YOGA volunteers want their money to stretch further so more people can enjoy the benefits of practising the exercises.

The Brighton Yoga Foundation has set up an online fundraising page, and wants to take on a part-time fundraiser and to open an office in the city.

Volunteers from the foundation run a free festival every year at Sussex County Cricket Club in Hove.

They said: "Our mission is to bring yoga and its benefits to communities that wouldn't usually have access to it. Now, we need your help to expand our work in Brighton and beyond.

"Yoga is a gift that goes beyond the practice. We know its great benefits - physically, mentally & spiritually, and we’ve seen first hand the incredible impact it has on people’s lives.

"Alone though, we can only go so far. Now, we need your help to expand our work further, to reach more people, and to heal whole communities through the power of yoga."

They want to raise £10,000 to continue outreach work. Visit: www.chuffed.org/project/brighton-yoga-foundation
