RAIL disruption is expected to last all day after trains broke down at Brighton and Eastbourne this morning.
Journeys through the Brighton on services including Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink are affected.
Trains may be cancelled, terminated or started back from Three Bridges, according to National Rail Enquiries.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customers are advised that regular services continues to run between Brighton and London.
Currently the Cambridge to Brighton services will terminate and start from Three Bridges.
Earlier this morning, Southern the 5.47am Brighton to Bedford service developed a fault.
It could not be repaired and a rescue train was neded to take the train back to the depot in Three Bridges.
- A broken down train blocking platform 1 at Eastbourne is causing delays of up to 15 minutes.
Fewer platforms are in use at the station after the 6.20am Eastbourne to London Victoria service developed a fault and could not be moved.
