THE Argus Camera Club captured some lovely summer images in July.

We were sent pictures of Worthing Pride, Belle Tout Lighthouse, Birling Gap, Brighton Beach and a bendy bench.

The winner of the monthly £50 award goes for the shot of a mackerel sky sunset over Lancing College, by Kevin and Rae Photography.

It wins the prize as it really gives the feel of a summer evening.

Argus editor Arron Hendy said: “ It’s a fantastic picture.

“It reminds me of a Van Gogh’, maybe Wheatfield with Crows. We can all imagine sitting back against one of the bales and taking a rest, especially during this hot summer.”

The Argus Camera Club is for all amateur photographers who want to share their pictures of Brighton, Hove and the rest of Sussex.

As the community continues to build, we hope members will share tips and advice, join our projects and enter competitions.
