CRAWLEY College has been given a major training boost.
It has been named by the National Skills Academy Rail as an official member of the National Network of Colleges, part of the National Training Partnership.
The NSAR is a rail-industry membership body which represents the interests of the rail sector.
It works with employers to ensure they have a skilled workforce that can meet their needs and their National Network of Colleges helps to signpost employers to high quality education providers.
Principal Vicki Illingworth said: “This is the latest step for us as we work towards providing our local area with the skilled workforce of tomorrow.
“We are passionate about developing our curriculum, ensuring our learners are continuing to meet the skills and employment needs across the industry, from the technical engineering to business operations.”
Membership means the college can work with other further educations colleges who have experience of working with employers.
