THE PRODUCTION of a television talent show was hampered by rainy weather.

Britain’s Got Talent organisers had hoped for plenty of hopefuls to show off their skills at the audition at the Latest Music Bar in Manchester Street in Brighton yesterday.

The venue hosted auditions last year, but this year they were hit with rain. Inside, production did go ahead, and the event was open from noon until 6pm, ahead of next year’s series.

Last year Brighton dance group TapTastik made it to the official judge’s audition stage of the show.

Latest Music Bar manager Angi Mariani said the city has bags of talent to “furnish the show with superstars”, but did say some may not be extrovert enough to appear on TV.
