WH Smith Brighton has been given a new look.

The store in Churchill Square shopping centre has been given a new design and open plan layout.

Manager Shellie Johnson said: “All of the team here in Brighton are absolutely delighted with the new store look. “Customer feedback has been really positive with customers commenting in particular on the bright, airy feel of the store and the positive atmosphere – there’s a great buzz.

“Our extensive art and craft department has been hugely popular, as well as our fashion stationery ranges – and we are really looking forward to welcoming both our loyal customers as well as new customers to see our fantastic back to school ranges.”

As a result of the sales of national lottery tickets from its store,WH Smith has raised £1,415,899 for good causes.

Commercial director Rachel Russell said: “Raising money for good causes is integral to our business and we’re so delighted to have achieved such a huge amount in our Brighton store.

“A huge thank you to our customers for their support. “This great news comes alongside a very exciting time for our team in Brighton, as we unveil our new look store.

“I am exceptionally proud of what has been achieved and hope that our customers are enjoying their new shopping experience.”

The shop now has a pen shop, digital “tech express” department where latest technology from brands such as Apple, Beats and Sony is available.
