TWO men suffered broken bones in a brawl outside a pub.

A fight broke out outside Mash Tun in Church Street, Brighton, just after midnight on Thursday.

A 19-year-old man suffered a broken wrist and a dislocated elbow, and a 23-year-old man who was with him sustained bruising.

Both men, who are from Brighton, were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment and the 19-year-old is still receiving treatment there.

It is unclear who was fighting, as a police statement has not given descriptions of suspects.

The force said: “Police are seeking witnesses to a violent incident outside a Brighton city centre pub in which two men were injured.”

Nobody else was reported to have been injured and no arrests have been made at this stage.

Detective Constable Simon Rideout, of Sussex Police, said: “Our enquiries are continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact us online or by calling 101, quoting serial 30 of 13/09.”
