BRAWLING yobs threw a bottle during a city centre fracas.
One man was hit by the bottle during the fight between two groups of men in North Street in Brighton at 9.10pm on Tuesday.
The 51-year-old from Hove had to be taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for a head injury.
Meanwhile a 21-year-old man suffered minor injuries and made his own way to hospital for treatment.
Police denied rumours of a stabbing.
No arrests have been made, but witnesses can report information on the Sussex Police website or call 101 and quote reference 1272 of 18/09.
