AN accountancy firm has made a new signing.
Taylorcocks, which has offices in Steyning, is a centre of excellence for the agricultural and viticultural industries.
Suzanne Craig has joined from Knill James where she worked for 22 years.
During that period, she dealt with a large number of farms and vineyards.
Originally from Lewes, Suzanne is passionate about the countryside and has a family history of farming.
Following university, she joined Knill James as a trainee, ending up as a partner while specialising in the agricultural sector.
Suzanne said: “I see my role as being an adviser and mentor as well as an accountant, and given the huge challenges of today’s business climate - not least Brexit - there is an important hand-holding element to what I do.
“It is very rewarding when a client regards you not only as their accountant but a valued part of their business.
“Brexit is a significant challenge for farmers and viticulturalists. Subsidies are likely to be reduced.”
