The graffiti at Shoreham Fort
TWO boys who vandalised the historic Shoreham Fort have been tracked.
The 15-year-olds sprayed graffiti on the Ancient Scheduled Monument at the end of March and were identified through social media posts.
They have apologised and have taken part in restorative justice sessions.
PC Mike Harvey said: “The fort is an Ancient Scheduled Monument and any crimes committed on the site which directly affect it are treated as aggravated heritage crimes.
“The pair have shown remorse for the crime and have taken a real interest in the fort.”
