A MOTHER and her baby have been taken to hospital after their car flipped.
The Volkswagen Gol overturned in St Lawrence Avenue, Worthing, at 10.30am today after hitting a parked car.
Injuries to the one-year-old girl are not yet known.
Her mother, who was driving the car, has been treated for minor injuries, but they have been taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “Police received a report of a road traffic collision at 10.30am on Wednesday in St Lawrence Avenue, Worthing.
“A car collided with a parked car.
“The driver and passenger have been taken to hospital to be checked over.”
Firefighters were also called to the scene to help turn the car back on to its wheels.
