A young man suffered face injuries after being attacked in a city centre street.

The 20-year-old was assaulted in Bond Street in Brighton shortly after 5am on September 28.

Police are appealing for witnesses, and believe two men may have seen what happened.

One man was wearing a high-vis jacket and a hard hat, while the other was wearing a black and white jacket or anorak.

A 21-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of assault and released pending further investigation.
