A GLIDER has crashed into the sea near Beachy Head.
The Coastguard helicopter is at the scene along with other emergency services.
Following the incident this afternoon Sussex Police confirmed officers were called along with two RNLI lifeboats from Eastbourne and Newhaven.
Two people in the glider were rescued and are believed to be uninjured although this has yet to be confirmed by the emergency services.
