THESE new pictures show how close a cliff fall was to residents and the beach.
The huge part of Seaford Head fell onto the beach and sea below on Sunday afternoon.
The fall was between Splash Point and Cuckmere Haven and renewed warnings were made afterwards to walkers.
Newhaven Coastguards said: “We once again urge you to please keep well away from the edge and keep your dogs on a lead as more falls are likely and little or no warning will be given.
“If you are walking under the cliffs try to stay well away from the base. If possible as much as the cliff is high. For example for a 50m cliff stay 50m away.”
