Tesco in The Droveway, Hove
AN ARMED robber raided a shop in an upmarket residential area before escaping with £2,000.
The man entered Tesco Express in The Droveway, Hove, at 9.45pm on Monday (15 October).
He then threatened staff with a knife and made off with cash from the tills.
Nobody was hurt.
He is described as white, and was wearing dark clothing.
Detective Constable Scarlett Millar urged any witnesses to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
He said: "If you were nearby on Monday evening and saw this man or have any other information, please contact us online or by calling 101, quoting serial 1245 of 15/10."
"You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
