A missing man from Seaford has been rescued after search teams found him “very cold and unconscious”.
Ronald Rose, 85, was located by Newhaven Coastguard Team near Seaford Head at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, October 16, following a half-hour search.
The rescuers then administered casualty care for around an hour until paramedics and a coastguard helicopter arrived.
A spokesman from Newhaven coastguard said: “All the emergency teams in the operations rooms made a fantastic effort to locate, treat and extricate the casualty.”
