Movie lovers celebrated as the city centre’s largest cinema reopened its doors on Wednesday after being closed for two weeks.
Odeon Brighton, in West Street, was unexpectedly shut for two weeks due to a technical fault with the fire alarm, preventing any customers from watching films at the venue.
The closure also angered members of the cinema’s loyalty scheme, Limitless, without access to the unlimited films promised with the monthly subscription.
One member told the Argus: “There was a real lack of communication.”
As of Wednesday, the issue was resolved and the cinema was reopened with a full film list for customers to enjoy.
