A NUFFIELD Health staff member and knee replacement patient cycled 300 miles to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Craig Chadwick has been a porter at Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital for eight years.
In 2016 he successfully had a total knee replacement at the hospital by consultant Sebastian Dawson-Bowling.
That inspired him to complete a low impact challenge.
Craig cycled 300 miles on his bike around Sussex but completed two hours of his challenge on a spin bike in the entrance of the hospital as a way of raising money.
So far Craig has raised
£500 but has set his target at £800.
He said: “I think we’ve all been close to or known a family member or friend that has suffered with cancer.
“If this little challenge make just one person’s journey a litter easier then it’s a challenge worth doing.”
