THIS image of 12 lemons in an egg box has been created for a campaign involving a Sussex drinks company to raise awareness of the symptoms of breast cancer.

Each lemon representing different symptoms of the disease and the image, launched during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this month, will appear in a free awareness booklet and posters.

The campaign has been launched by Billingshurst-based lemon juice brand PLj, the breast cancer campaign Know Your Lemons and Tenovus Cancer Care, a charity that supports cancer patients and their family.

The booklet will be carried on the necks of more than 100,000 bottles of the sugar-free PLj lemon juice currently in supermarkets and health food shops across the South East.

It will also be on posters funded by Plj, which will be available to GP surgeries around the UK, with an initial print run currently being distributed to surgeries by NHS Brighton & Hove Clinical Commissioning Group and other CGCs and clinics.
