CHARITY Chailey Heritage Foundation has partnered with Lewes solicitors Adams and Remers to host a free Wills and understanding inheritance tax event on November 15.

Rose Macfarlane, associate at Adams and Remers, will provide guests with a comprehensive guide to writing their Will and explain the workings of inheritance tax.

A representative from the charity will also explain how, by leaving a gift in your Will, you can help future generations of young people have the best life possible.

Rose said: “I am looking forward to talking about inheritance tax planning and Wills by giving this presentation at Chailey Heritage Foundation.

“Having seen the work they do for young people with complex disabilities and health needs, it is a pleasure to show my support in this way. I hope lots of people take advantage of this opportunity.”

Sally-Anne Murray, development director at the charity, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to our supporters and members of the local community and are very grateful to Rose for giving up her time to share this important information.

“We also hope that guests will leave with a better understanding of how our work can be supported by leaving gifts in Wills”.

The evening will be hosted at Chailey Heritage Foundation, a Sussex based charity with a national reputation for supporting disabled children and young people to pursue their fullest potential since 1903.

This is a free event and open to all, but advance booking is essential.
