A STATION platform was closed for filming of a new wartime drama.
Passengers at Brighton station saw the vintage 1940s costumes, cars, and set for the forthcoming film Summerland.
Stars who appear in the flick include former Oscar winner Sir Tom Courtenay, former Bond girl Gemma Arterton, and Dame Penelope Wilton from Downton Abbey.
It will be a drama about a woman who “opens her heart” to an evacuee played by Dominic McGreevy during the Second World War.
Summerland has been written by playwright Jessica Swale, who is making her debut as a film director.
The actors were spotted on set on a beach in Sussex, and at the station over the weekend.
It included Gemma rolling on a pebble beach at Hastings and wading into the cold waters of the English Channel.
The movie has also filmed scenes in Seaford.
In Brighton, the station was taken back in time with dozens of actors in full 1940s garb.
There were police officers, soldiers, housewives, children, and air raid wardens. There was even a film poster depicting a 1939 Laurence Olivier film.
