THE trial of a man accused of killing two schoolgirls in the 1980s will continue this week.
Russell Bishop is in the dock at The Old Bailey, where he is accused of the murders of nine-year-olds Karen Hadaway and Nicola Fellows at Wild Park in Brighton in 1986.
Brian Altman QC, prosecuting, opened the case last week, and the jury were taken on a site visit.
He told them the evidence against Bishop was "overwhelming", with DNA and forensics that linked him to the girls, the crime scene, and a blue Pinto sweatshirt.
This week witnesses will appear to give evidence for the prosecution. Bishop, 52, formerly of Brighton, denies the charges, and the trial continues.
