A DIVER went missing off the Sussex coast on Sunday (October 21).
Two helicopters and three lifeboats were part of a major search which lasted seven hours.
But rescuers could not find the missing man and the operation was called off at 5.30pm yesterday.
There were no plans to continue the search this morning.
It is understood the man got into difficulty while on a trip with ten other divers 11 miles off the coast at Hastings.
