A MAN spat in a woman's face after she refused to hug him at a bus stop.
The 19-year-old was waiting for a number 25 at the Old Steine in Brighton along with a friend.
She said no and got on the bus, but a man ran on board and spat at her before running off at 3.45am on October 16.
The suspect is described as mixed race, aged about 20, skinny, with short black hair and wearing dark clothing with a hooded top and coat.
Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following the “unpleasant” incident.
PC Mark Butcher said: “He is also suspected of having been part of a group of three youths or young men who had just been harassing two unknown women at the same spot, trying to sell them drugs and threatening to expose themselves.”
He is looking to trace two other women who may have been affected.
