A GALAXY far, far, away is coming to the city.

Coming out of hyperspace and landing in Brighton, a selection of Star Wars prints from a number of well-regarded artists are to go on show to the public.

The Dynamite Gallery, in Trafalgar Street, will play host to the War In The Stars exhibit.

From the original series up until the new sequels that are currently being released, Star Wars is one of the best-known movie series in the world and has amassed a fan base that spans a number of generations.

With images from across all the movies, and created in a number of different styles, the prints will transport the public into the Star Wars universe.

Gallery owner Henry Gomez said: “Before Star Wars even existed as we know it today, Ralph McQuarrie’s conceptual art provided the visual basis for the most important film series of all time.

“Star Wars was art long before it was ever a movie.

“Star Wars is such an all encompassing cultural phenomenon that it has inspired so many different artists to be creative in different ways.”

The War In The Stars exhibit is on show at Dynamite Gallery from Saturday until Monday, December 31.
