COMPUTER manufacturer Amplicon hosted a football fundraising event in aid of Breast Cancer Now.
The charity initiative was introduced by Amplicon, which is based in Brighton, three years ago and what started as an opportunity for staff to have a bit of fun outside the workplace has now become an inter-company football event.
This year Amplicon invited other nearby businesses and team registrations were quickly received from Shaws of Brighton and AJ Taylor Electrical.
The five-a-side football fundraiser consisted of two football matches and raised £1,000.
Miriam Bernal, marketing manager at Amplicon and organiser of the event said: “We really enjoyed the football match, raising vital funds for Breast Cancer Now. This is a cause very close to the hearts of some of the Amplicon employees.”
