A PEDESTRIAN who died in a car crash in Crawley has been named.
Robert Taylor, 49, was from Langley Green, Crawley. Emergency services were called at about 8.30am on Thursday to a serious crash at the Tushmore roundabout in Crawley Avenue.
A red Fiat 500 car hit a pedestrian and a child on a bike who were using a pelican crossing.
Mr Taylor died at the scene. The five-year-old boy riding the bike suffered a broken leg and has since been released from hospital to recover. They were not together.
The driver of the car, a 30-year-old local woman, suffered minor injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate.
