A TRESPASSER on the line has caused rail disruption between Lewes and Seaford.
It is the second time a trespasser has disrupted services in two days.
At about 2.10pm, Southern Rail tweeted: “Due to trespassers on the railway between Seaford and Lewes, the line is currently blocked.
“Tickets are being accepted on Brighton and Hove Buses between Brighton and Seaford.”
The trespasser was apprehended by British Transport Police and Southern Network Rail staff just before 2.30pm.
The services are returning to normal, however some trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 4.30pm.
Yesterday railway staff and transport police escorted a trespasser to safety from the line between Lewes and Seaford.
