Cilla: The Musical

Cilla Black is quite rightly regarded as a national treasure, and now this musical seeks to do justice to the fantastic singer and television personality.

The story of a girl from Liverpool who achieved incredible stardom and became one of the best loved exports of the nation.

Cilla found herself at the forefront of the British pop and was known on television and for her musical works by the age of just 25.

The musical score is the ultimate soundtrack to the 1960s, including Cilla’s greatest hits and songs from many other acclaimed artists of the time.

This show is a must for any Cilla fan.

The Simon and Garfunkel Story

Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne, Thursday, November 15

Accompanied by a full live band, The Simon And Garfunkel Story is one of the UK’s premier tribute acts to two musicians who have given us some incredible music over the years.

With a stream of classic hits, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel may not play together any more, but you can still take chances like these to enjoy their music in a fully live set up.

The show also features original photo and film work that is the perfect accompaniment to the songs played.

Iron Tyger

Iron Tyger are locals to Sussex and frequent gig goers in the city may be familiar with their work as they play a whole host of shows in the area.

Next Friday they will be bringing their much heralded Queen show to Worthing.

They play Eighties music with fantastic energy and passion, but their Queen act is known locally for its ability to always be entertaining.

If you’re a fan of classic Queen songs and like a fun filled and epic start to the weekend then this is most definitely the show to get to.

You won’t want to be breaking free of this by any means and will be wanting the show to go on all night long.

Krater Comedy Club

If you’re a Brightonian then going to a Krater Comedy night is almost a rite of passage.

Always a fun night, filled with some of the UK comedy circuit’s finest acts, there’s no doubting how much value for money it is.

On Friday Paul Myrehaug is the headline act; the Canadian is a known name across the globe.

Comedy flows from his act with such ease you would think it was engrained in his DNA.

Paul is joined on the night by other notable comedians Jimmy McGhie and Paul Tomkinson, with Stephen Grant as MC as usual.
