THE white cliffs at Brighton Marina are being transformed into a giant cascade of falling poppies to commemorate the end of the First World War.
A video showing the silhouette of a soldier with the words Thank You has been projected on to the cliff face each evening since Thursday from 4.30pm.
Kirsty Pollard, general manager at Brighton Marina, said: “This is a big thank you from the city of Brighton to all those fought in the war.
"We are in an incredible position overlooking the English Channel and sitting underneath the white cliffs, so the tribute seemed very fitting.
"The response has been fantastic, but this is all about being part of the city as a whole as it pays respect to those who served in the First World War.”
