JAILED: 'Controlling and coercive' man who repeatedly beat up his girlfriend
A MAN who repeatedly assaulted his former partner has been jailed
Samuel Goodwin went to her home in Haywards Heath and damaged an iPhone.
The 24-year-old also assaulted her and a man in the property.
He had already been given suspended sentences.
Brighton Magistrates’ Court was told he was “coercive” and “controlling” towards his ex-partner.
Goodwin, of Windmill Road in Polegate, was jailed for a total of 56 weeks after suspended sentences were activated.
